This song came to mind when I was on the phone with somebody yesterday.

J: OK here's a hard one.
D: Yeah?
J: Let's say you've tried asking someone out, but they said no.
D: Uh-huh.
J: So supposedly you really adore this person yeah.
D: Uh-huh.
J: Their happiness should be your main priority.
D: Yeah.
J: What should you do? Chase her, and compromise her well-being, or leave her alone, happy as she always has been without you around her?
D: Hmm.
J: Hee.
D: Well, if you don't chase her, you'd be comprising the chance of you making her even happier than she already is.
